Any Plan: That incorporates (1) endurance, (2) aerobic conditioning (cardiovascular fitness), (3) strength and (4) neuromuscular integration and stretching will do the trick. Throw in a clean, unprocessed diet and you're in business. Brisk walking or jogging, resistance training with bands or weights, yoga and stretching done in alternation 5-6 days a week is an example. Get a physical first!

Fitness: Weight loss will be achieved primarily through an excellent nutrtion plan.Anaerobic exercise tthrough interval training will not only help you get fitter but also burn body fat.However, if your nutrtion is aweful, then you will find it hard to lose weight through exercise.
