Many, and Yes: Zumba specifically contributes to aerobic and core fitness, especially if done consistently and with good form. Adequate rest, hydration, attention to caloric input and nutritional support (macro and micronutrients) are critical to achieving the success and weight loss you want. Regular exercise alone, in the absence of recovery and nutritious, well-timed meals, won't be enough to get you there!
