I had a serious uti last yr caused by bph. under control now and a psa if 1.75. i have read many articles that prostate massage is a good way to help shrink the prostate but cannot find a clinic that does this. where can i find one in missouri?

Prostate massage does not make the prostate smaller. Your urologist can evaluate you and discuss your options between watchful waiting, medication and surgery.

Prostate massage was done for chronic or recurrent prostatitis %0 years ago when there were few prostate specific antibiotics. But the newer ones were effective so message fell out of favor and Urologist stopped doing it. It was and is NOT done to shrink the prostate so you will not find anyone to do it for that reason.
