Hi i went to the urologist because of frequent urination especially at night. i do not have bph..my prostate is small and smooth. psa is 1.33. should i live with the frequent urination or take medication for it, and if so which medication is best?

Before recommending any kind of medication, it would be necessary to know what is causing the frequent urination. You should either return to your urologist for follow up or seek a second opinion to get a diagnosis prior to trying to make any plan. Good luck.

Size of the prostate does not necessarily co-relate with symptoms. The causes of your problem(frequency) can be many and have to be investigated then treated depending on cause
