I have bph at 77. twice have to go to void at night it hard to go back to sleep after. can anyone comment is the usage of 5-htp will negatively effect prostate or psa? usage of melatonin is not helping! thanks?

Melatonin 8 to 10 mg at Sunset (+ ) or (-) 15 minutes usually help with restful night sleep. Melatonin at bedtime does not do much as it is a hormone that works with one's natural melatonin production, by augmentation, at sunset. Avoiding drinking fluids late at night before sleep helps. Causes of BPH and high PSA are a little much to discuss here and should be discussed with the Urologist.
