I am not able to see my orthodontist currently and i need the wire cut on my braces. can i cut them myself but be able to pull the wire out of the last bracket without damage to my braces?

Emergency care: Rather than damaging your appliances and setting your progress back, call your Orthodontist's office and explain your problem. They will get back to you with a solution. Or you can call your General Dentist who can clip or grind off the extra piece of wire. In the meantime take Ibuprofen, rinse with salt water, and put wax on the "sticker."
