I need some help please! why won't my orthodontist give me colors on my braces?

Several reasons: Either he does not have them or your brackets are self closing and no " o" rings are required.

All Depends: This is a complicated question. Some braces are "self ligating" meaning they close on the wire via a door instead of elastomeric ties. If that is the case, there is no need for colors on your brackets. Some "old skewl" orthodontists still use metal ties instead of elastic ties, which are metal. And some orthodontists simply do not carry colored ties, just silver/grey/clear.

Compliance?: Well, either they are just being mean, or more likely it is do to poor compliance on your part. I know in our practice, if a kid does not brush well and take care of their teeth we will stop doing colors as a tool to motivate them to get back on track with their hygiene. Why don't you ask your orthodontist why?
