Maybe: Each orthodontic case is different and specific. In some instances, clear brackets are not indicated on lower teeth due to the deepness of the bite. In most instances, clear brackets can be used. It is up to the orthodontic specialist to make that determination.

Maybe: there are actually treatment differences (the clear brackets have more friction with the arch wire and are more brittle so it does limit how aggressive treatment can be), but for most cases we can treat with either set of brackets
