Exercise: Exercise early in the day is helpful. Avoiding TV or other screen time in bed is helpful to condition your body to sleep. Avoiding caffeine, decongestants and other stimulants later in the day is helpful. Alcohol makes you sleep but can interfere with staying asleep. Meditation and calm activities in the evening help.
