If you eat meat, use it as a seasoning, rather than the main course. Avoid fried foods and sugar (added sugar, sugared drinks, alcohol, anything with high fructose corn syrup). Shop in the perimeter of the grocery store for the fresh products.

It depends on:: There is no single diet that is healthy for everyone and there are many versions of the Paleo diet as well.

Healthy Diet: Hi Josh. A giant question; I'll narrow it down. I call it "F.A.T".  F - Frequency, A - Amount, and T - Type.  All of these will determine how healthy your diet is.  Frequency - Eating 3 big meals during the day vs. smaller meals throughout the day (better). Amount: Too much or too little.  Type - Poor quality food (e.g, fatty, sugar, and/or "fast food"-type items vs. Yogurt, fruit/nuts, chicken.

Balanced diet: Women need to consider what they do and need throughout the weekdays and weekends and try to balance not only caloric intake with output but also nutrient (eg, folate) need and expenditure. Food is energy.  Quite simply a poor diet equals poor health.

The truth is that food choices have little to do with your staying healthy; exercise, avoiding excess calories, and getting enough micronutrients from a varied and interesting diet is much more important.

It's more important to have a "diet" you can stay on permanently rather than something short-term or radical.

Same as everywhere: Eliminate juices, sodas, or other sweet drinks.  Drink water.  Don't eat fried foods (chicken nuggets, french fries etc).  Watch the sugar content in cereals and snacks.  Serve few starches, including breads, pastas, and (white) grains.  Add more vegetables and fruits, but not too many fruits because of all the sugar they contain.  In short, eat an organic, whole grain, no added sugar diet.
