I am currently on tadalafil 5mg & tamsulosin .4mg. i take the tadalafil am the tamsulosin at bedtime. this regimen for about 5 years. recently seems to be decreasing in effectiveness. thoughts on changing to tad at bedtime and tam in am or both bed?

You can try both drugs before bed time. If not improved, then you may need a higher dose of tamsulosin 0.8 mg/day or 0.4 mg, twice a day along with tadalafil or a different alpha-1 blocker such as alfuzosin or silodosin may be considered. Good luck.

This could mean that your prostate symptoms have increased and might need looking into and possible increase in dosage- sp of tamsulosin. Timing of taking the drugs will not change their effectiveness. Pl consult your Urologist
