Not likely: It sounds like you had hsv before; 25 days is too short to make a full transition between igg and igm, you would expect at least some igm present.

Herpes: Herpes is a pain since it can be transmitted even when there are no active sores. A positive igg means a previous infection or exposure. The igm shows that there is no acute infection.

Is a HSV igm & igg blood test helpful after g herpes exposure 6+months ago? No genital outbreak, other symptoms, but have had mouth cold sores before.
Exposure to oral sex was 2.5 months back. I had got a sore a month back on my lips which lasted 10 days. Now again i have got a sore since a week. 2 days back Got the HSV 1&2 igg & igm antibodies test which have come negative. Can herpes b ruled out?
I had possible Herpes 2 exposure, no lesions & took IgM and IgG blood tests 2 weeks after the incident. Both were negative. Did I test too early? It is now 32 days post exposure, still no lesions. Do I need to retest?
