Hello doctor. can a virgin male contact genital herpes hsv. igg/igm blood test both negative after some weeks.could it be another infection of penis.is there anyother nonsexual infection with similar symptoms to genital herpes. thanks?

Your question is not entirely clear. A virgin male could get genital herpes from oral sex. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

It takes up to 12 weeks, even 16 weeks sometimes, for the HSV blood tests to become positive. (But IgM testing is useless anyway; only IgG results are valid.) There are many causes of genital skin problems other than herpes or other STIs. See a doctor, preferably a dermatologist.

I just recently got blood tested for hiv and chlamydia & etc.. everything was negative the doctor also tested me for hsv1&2 they read this HSV 1/2 AB (IGM) was negative and HSV 1/2 IGG was positive I never had symptoms does this mean I have herpes?
