Acute: Acute healing is done in a week or two, and most people take a week off of work. Two weeks of no heavy lifting or strenuous activity, and 6 weeks before the nasal bones are full strength. Yet, it takes a year for all of the healing to finish.

3 major periods: The fist usually lasts one week when the nasal splint is often removed. The next phase can last up to 6 months as the swelling subsides. The final result can take a year or more.

varies: Depending on the type of work done most patients will return to work within one week. You may expect to see some residual bruising around the eyes at this time but this will not prevent you from work.

Rhinoplasty recovery: It rakes a full year to recover from rhinoplasty. Most patients are sociable after a week. Be sure to have your nose evaluated by a board certified facial plastic surgeon.
