No: Everyone is different, but most patients complain more of a stuffy nose than pain after septoplasty and rhinoplasty.

No: Septorhinoplasty is not usually very painful. It is usually more like a head cold with congestion and stuffiness for a while.

Pain after rhino: In general, septoplasty and rhinoplasty are not painful operations. There is discomfort from not being able to breathe well through your nose in the early post-operative period, and having tape and a cast on your nose, but the pain is usually less than most patients anticipate. Of course, depending on the complexity and extensiveness of an operation this can vary.
