Less danger with the x-ray than without, I've known of bowel perforation when done without. Your doc already knows this.

I agree with Dr. Ferguson. The procedure can be done blindly without X-ray but it is much safer to have it done under fluoroscope. The radiation risk is negligible compared with the benefits. Take care.

It is more precise and safe to use fluro. The amount of radiation you will get from it will not harm you in any way. Xrays are procedure - you will be fine. Dangerous when exposure is prolonged and repeated and all radiologists are aware of that. So dont worry have the procedure
