A member asked:

Is it possible for me to just insert a male catheter, but only at night?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Night catheter: Of course it is possible to insert a catheter at night, but you give no reason for doing it. It should not be done to avoid getting up at night to urinate. It is safer to do intermittent catheterization if you are unable to void. This is something you should discuss with your urologist if you are having problems with urination.
