Is echo 2d (septum) ivs at leaflets tips 1.1cm and posterior wall thickness 1.1cm considered or diagnosed as left ventricular hypotrophy (lvh) in 68 year old men? if no what are upper normal limits?

I think you made a typo. LVH is left ventricular HYPERtrophy. You have mild LVH, the upper normal limit for septum and posterior wall for men is 1.0 cm. Good luck.
