On echo lvid(diastole) is 5.2 cm with normal limits less than 5.7 cm, and lvid(systole) is 3.7 cm with normal limits less than 4 cm. according to the above data is left ventricular size normal (in senior citizens)? thanks?

I believe that these measures of left ventricular diameter indicate that your left ventricle is of normal size and function. Did the echo report mention any concentric hypertrophy? Your physician or cardiologist who received the entire report can advise you best.
