A member asked:

Is ivs(septum) upper normal limit 1.0cm when measured by cardiac mri and 1.1cm when measured by echo? just curious?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You need more information. For example, a septal to posterior wall ratio of more than 1.5 is highly suggestive of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. What is your LVF? Do you have any symptoms. The number could be normal.
