A member asked:

I had ct colonography. it states that evaluation of solid organs is limited due to the absence of intravenous contrast. are they still able to see anything major without intravenous contrast ? also it states moderate amount of stool?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

They can but not as clearly as with contrast, second part means colon had stool so cannot be fully evaluated. Co-oedinate these findings with the reaso the test was done and the ordering doc.
