Since microscopic exam didn't show malignant cells,don't worry about a neuroendocrine or carcinoid malignancy being present in your cervix. In view of the finding of ASCUS in your PAP smear, testing for presence of HPV infection is the next usual process. If negative,, no worries. Your gynecologist can advise you best.

Neuroendocrine tumors of the cervix are exceedingly rare, if one has been reported. Rare diagnoses are rarely correct. Get repeat PAPs as recommended by your doctor.
