A member asked:

When i was pregnant last year my pap came abnormal and the results were ascus, my doctor said i had high risk job and men's e6e7 was detected, does hpv mrna e6/e7 detected mean cancer? can hpv mrna e6/e7 go away without causing cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ASCUS need not lead to cancer. It is imperative that you have repeat PAP smears, as advised by your doctor. Get HPV vaccine to protect yourself against other strains of the virus. Wish you good health!
