Doc said it's ibs but i have persistent diarrhea 6-8+times/day, it wakes me up at night. have abdominal pain and tenderness in lower left and right side. fatigue, abscess in colon and rectum. crp 1.2, esr 93, rbc 3.47, bun creat 60. ibs misdiagnosis?

Abscess of in colon and rectum are a serious problem and are not consistent with what you describe. Pl see a Gastroenterologist for proper diagnosis and management

IBS can mean either inflammatory or irritable bowel syndrome. Your very high ESR, symptoms, and abscesses mean almost certainly yours is inflammatory, i.e. Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. Discuss with your doctor. See a gastroenterologist if not already doing so. Good luck.
