Biopsy: active colitis,acute cryptitis,crypt abscess in colon&rectum. perianal abscess. diarrhea wakes me up at night& diarrhea 8+times/day. numbness in hands& feet,lower abdominal pain. crp 1.2, esr 93, ast 99, alt 83. is this an autoimmune disease?

This partly duplicates a question answered recently. See that reply. Sounds like inflammatory bowel disease, but that probably doesn't explain your abnormal liver function tests. An autoimmune condition might be possible. Your reply to the other question said you will be seeing a new gastroenterologist. Follow her advice. Nobody can help further from the distance of any online forum. Good luck.

What you described is consistent inflammatory bowel disease. Irritable bowel syndrome would not be expected to have any abscesses. It would be prudent to consult a GI specialist at your earliest. Wish you good health!
