It is okay to ask your doctor for clarification at visits. The ENT doctor would have requested the ultrasound if there was a need for it. There is not enough information to say if the shotty nodes could be significant because it could be due to common infections that would resolve with time and some may be due to more significant factors that the ENT know and we do not know because of limit impos.
