Training: Rn=2-4years schooling + experience. Md=4 years after undergrad + ENT residency 3-5+years +/-fellowship + experience. It is the dr's responsibility to identify "normal" from "abnormal" and direct treatment. Many things can look similar to less-experienced eyes.
