Good evening doctors. my egfr is 56. my bilirubin 1.5 what do these results mean with regard to chronic kidney disease-ckd?

The bilirubin of 1.5 does not have any affect to your kidney function or eGFR. The eGFR is automatically calculated by a formula based on your serum creatinine, age and sex when you have the blood test done. As I answered before, there is no causal relationship between Gilbert's syndrome and chronic kidney disease.

It will depend on which method they used to calculate the eGFR. The gold standard is a 24 hr urine collection If that is what was used your kidney function is low. Discuss with your Dr. and figure out ways to stop it from getting lower or at least slow it down.
