I think I've just answered your question. Stage 2 or 3A CKD is mild but the progression depends on the etiology. If your problem is chronic, the progression is usually slow and you will likely not require dialysis for at least 10 years. Good morning to you too. There is no set time for CKD progression. It depends on many factors like cause, co-morbidities , age etc. What you can do is to see a reputable nephrologist and remain under her/his care. With proper management CKD can be stabilized for a long time. Good luck to you
