Yes, the first is to find out the cause of your decline in eGFR. Then treat the cause. There are hundreds of causes. If diabetes and/or blood pressure above 120 getting it lower may slow progress. We used to plot 1/creatinine on the y axis and time in months or years on the x axis. The slope of that line will give you some idea of when you might need dialysis. So find every eGFR and plot.

If the values are stable then the condition is stable too. Pl be under the care of a Nephrologist who will decide the best management and prescribe medications if needed. Good luck
