My husband had an ak amputation in november. he is wearing his prosthetic liner now almost all day (except to sleep). wearing for a little over a week. there are areas of redness and tenderness that are bothering him. what should be done?

I refer such patients to a prosthetist, a specialist in prosthetic limbs. They give advice about & perform needed adjustments as well about what to about skin irritations and how to avoid them.
