Pregnancy problem : Do you have diabetes type 1 or chronic kidney failure? If yes, pregnancy is possible however many complications can be expected and must be handled by competent Endocrinologist, nephrologist (kidney specialist) and high risk Obstetrician. If you had amputation for other reasons such as complicated fractures or tumor, no chronic medical disease then the should have no problem with the pregnancy.

Ready for children: Why not? Talk to your OB, but barring that your condition does not have any systemic concerns, the physical absence of a limb and injury to the knee should not impact your want and ability to consider having children.
