Is this a concern? 6 mm very hypoechoic, taller than wide solid nodule within the right lower pole of the thyroid. this nodule is classified as acr ti rads 5, discovered after neck ear pain complaints.biopsy not reccomended until 1cm is that normal?

This nodule has some features which may require fine needle biopsy but biopsy of this small nodule is not easy. I agree with US follow up every 6 months and have biopsy done when the nodule is 1 cm or bigger.
