Firm lymph node on neck below ear and dr said i need to get a biopsy and that ultrasound wouldn't help. why? said location is difficult to evaluate. ?
I have a thyroid nodule that's 2.7cm that is affecting my lymph node in my neck. I've had many biopsies done, all benign. Doc said that they can remove part of the thyroid. Is this really necessary? Don't they try thyroid meds first?
Is this a concern? 6 mm very hypoechoic, taller than wide solid nodule within the right lower pole of the thyroid. This nodule is classified as ACR TI RADS 5, discovered after neck ear pain complaints.biopsy not reccomended until 1cm is that normal?
I have been tested for 2 lymph nodes. 1 on my neck b/h ear, other in Rh armpit. What are lymph nodes & are they dangerous? Had biopsy's awaiting result
Usound of neck. Show enlarged bilateral cervical lymph nodes w/no fatty hilum. Had cold & ear infecx at that time. Head and neck CT and MRI in sept with no report of issue with lym nds. Lymphoma? Biopsy on these lym nds 3yrs ago & were okay.
