Due to plavix. Stop before dental procedure

The bleeding is due to procedure but there is delayed clotting due to your meds

If your tissues are swollen, if you have tarter below the gum line, your gum tissues are being injured and may bleed when you brush/floss. Deep cleaning removes tarter and diseased tissues, and thereby causes bleeding. Plavix will make it harder for bleeding to stop. Discuss this with your Dentist and prescribing Physician. Consultation w gum/bone specialist Periodontist may be in order.
