Covid -19 infection has not been shown to cause birth defects in utero. Though studies are limited, the most severe problems seen have occurred with the mother. Pregnancy has been noted to be a risk factor for more severe disease and even death in otherwise healthy women. Pregnant women are more likely to have respiratory complications and need a ventilator than non pregnant women.

Most likely you and your baby will both be fine. But pregnancy is an immune compromised state. You may be a candidate for monoclonal antibody therapy to help avoid the worst side effects, you should call your OB or your GP right away.
