Im 9 or 10 weeks pregnant and got covid saturday night. just found out last night. symptoms are sore throat fatigue mild body aches and fevers on and off. terrified for baby health especially in first trimester. what do you as doctors think?

To date we don’t know if any common adverse effects of Covid infections in the first trimester however any viral infection potentially could have risks involved. The major thing currently is to just treat symptoms and watch for any respiratory problems. Certainly notifying your doctor is the first step step
