Can you get braces on your top teeth a week after getting a transpalatal bar?

What is the transpalatal bar for? Were you injured? Is it part of an orthodontic plan? If injured you would probably need to heal first. If it’s orthodontics then it would be up to the orthodontist. Otherwise, check with the professional that placed the bar.
