Had braces for 2 months. every time there is major movement (closing gaps), four of my gums get irritated and bleed. i send scans to my dr every week. she compliments how clean my teeth are. why are my gums so irritated? same gums every time?

The gingiva and bone are being manipulated and remodeled during the process, causing inflammation. Keep the areas spotless and as your treatment progresses the issue should subside.

If tooth movement is accomplished in the presence of tarter below the gums, rough/irregular root surfaces, or gum inflammation, tooth movement will result in bone loss. Bleeding gums indicate inflammation/infection. This should not be ignored. seek evaluation by a gum specialist, a Periodontist.
