Does residual glue leftover from braces wear away on its own? im going to get scaling done again and get new impressions for a new retainer, but lets say i leave this glue on my teeth, will my current retainer become loose if this glue wears away?

1. The bonding material used to hold your othodontic anchors in place does not wear away on its own. 2. The remanants of bonding will not materially affect the fit of your retainers. Ask your dentist to polish and smooth the remaining bonding off before taking the impressions.

I just got my braces off i just got my braces off last month, and yesterday my little sister broke my retainer.(top) i called my ortho immediately and came in this morning to get the impressions of my teeth and now have to wait 2 weeks for new retainers.
I removed braces, but I didn't wear my retainers regularly, there had been shifting in my teeth. I'm hoping if I can use spring retainers to correct?
I'm now suffering from stress because of my teeth... I used to wear braces 3 years ago and now i'm wearing retainer for a week but i'm not satisfied.
