I broke my zygomatic bone, is 15 days too long to wait to have surgery? i am concerned about scar tissue, long term effects, etc.

See a doctor: There are many variables to your question. At 15 days your bones are likely stuck in their current position. This is good if they are in the proper position, bad if they are not. See a qualified plastic surgeon or maxillofacial surgeon with experience treating facial fractures for an opinion. The sooner the better.

Get it evaluated: Depending on the degree of displacement and comminution, the fracture may not even need surgery. If it is displaced and untreated, the consequences, both cosmetic and functional, may well be worse than the scars from the repair, which are generally unobtrusive. 15 days is getting right up there, so get it evaluated soon! good luck!
