Self isolate: The CDC here in the US recommends that any person exposed to someone with covid should self-isolate, then get tested at day 4-6 after exposure. Treat any symptoms that arise with Acetaminophen for pain/fever/headache, nasal decongestants and cough meds. If you have difficulty breathing, persistent chest pain, confusion, lethargy or low oxygen see a Dr immediately.

COVID 19: Testing could provide valuable information. However, In South Africa a medical provider will determine need for COVID 19 testing. Consult your local primary care provider or you can use telemedicine (to include HealthTap’s telemedicine format) for individual consultations. There are a number of free apps to look at your risk.
