Tested positive for covid at home test. no more fever (had a fever for about 24 hours maybe a little longer) now feel tired, little dry cough, nasal congestion. wife, 6 year old and 1 year old negative. can i take my mask off around them after day 5?

I consider the kids already exposed by the time you tested positive and masking and isolation unnecessary. If the kids had a chronic illness, immune deficiency, or were otherwise impaired they might need special precautions but you have done all you need. Mask if you must leave the house for 5 days. Live life without the fear of this scourge since all are in the lowest risk groups.
