Local department: Please check with your local health department for testing sites and requirements. If you have symptoms, please see a physician right away. The incubation period may be as long as 2 weeks. Stay home, isolate, drink fluids and rest. Monitor you temperature and use Tylenol for fever control. Testing should be performed given your age as a screening test. Most symptoms occur within one week though.

COVID 19 testing: In South Africa- one consults with a medical provider who will determine need for COVID 19 testing. Consult your local primary care provider or you can use telemedicine for individual consultations. However, if appears that in South Africa- referrals are primarily being approved for symptomatic individuals. We can't refer you on this portion of HealthTap.
