Gingivitis: It is not uncommon to have inflammation of gums. Your dentist is accustomed to such issues and may want to use mouth rinses or even oral medications, but the welfare of your unborn child must be kept in mind when making treatment choices. However, would expect a rapid resolution of dental issues with intervention.

See a dentist: Not sure when your last cleaning was and if you are overdue. Pregnancy changes your hormonal balance which can cause the symptoms you describe. Pregnancy does not preclude you from dental care. No harm will come to your baby.
