Possible infection: May be an infection under the gums. Floss area well and if it doesn't clear up see your dentist.

2nd Opinion?: Swollen gum between two teeth and sensitivity (assumed from the same area as swollen gum) without a clear cut diagnosis, in my opinion merits a second opinion. You have clear cut symptoms and i believe there is probably a definitive answer. Let another set of eyes take a look!

2nd opinion: Additional clinical and radiographic criteria is needed to make an accurate diagnosis to treat your condition. However, it sounds like you have localized gum disease. It is advised to have a second opinion with a periodontist, who specializes in diagnosis and treatment of gum disease.
