Hard to tell: Without an exam and a radiograph and knowing if you have your wisdom teeth it is impossible to tell. Let a local dentist take a look.

Contact DDS: Go to the dentist for a complete evaluation. Perhaps, this is third molar related, which can be confirmed with a clinical examination and x-ray.

Possible: I tiredly possible you have food impacted under your gums. Could also be from abscessed tooth, infected gums, or one of hundreds of lesions. Please see your Dentist for differential diagnosis and treatment. That's the best way to resolve your problem. Please call now.
