Secondary dentition: His permanent teeth are coming in. Warm salt water rinses may help. Make sure to keep brushing, these are your permanent teeth that are emerging.

Dental exam: Children should start seeing a pediatric dentist by age 1. If you haven't taken your son yet, you should now. At age 7 it is possible that these are his upper font baby teeth coming out, or his permanent teeth coming in. Regardless the only way to know what is going on is to see a pediatric dentist.
