Hi doc, my son who is 9 months has eczema he was diagnosed by his pediatrician and he received treatment, its been 5 months now but he has not made progress from his condition. i am really starting to worry now should we take him to a dermaologist?

Maybe: Many pediatricians & general practitioners have experience with eczema & can manage most cases. It is a frustrating chronic condition that sometimes improves naturally by age 3. However, if you can find a dermatologist in your region they do have more experience with the different treatments available & may help you get better results.

My son (4yrs) has impatigo eczema, the Dermatologist gave him a cream called Advantan. Its been more than 2 weeks now and the rash got smaller but recently its gotten worse and now starting to move down to his chin. What else can we try?
