Eczema vs contact: Eczema is a skin condition where skin becomes inflamed, itchy, red, cracked, and rough. It is typically found in the creases of your elbows and knees, cheeks and scalp. It is primarily an allergic disease which can be passed genetically. Contact dermatitis has the same symptoms, but is found anywhere an irritating substance has contacted skin. Try removing irritants (soaps, detergents, perfumes).
